Kegger is a feature-length documentary completed by myself and partner Marcus Chebul  in 2009 for the 30th Anniversary of the famous Aber Day Keggers held in Missoula, MT from 1972-1979. The keggers were Guinness Book record holders for “Largest Benefit Kegger” and annually packed 10,000 people  and 1,000 kegs of beer into a field outside of town to enjoy pitchers full of cold beer and excellent musical acts (Jimmy Buffet, Bonnie Raitt and Heart all performed).

The film is composed of still pictures, archival footage shot at the actual keggers and more than 30 interviews of kegger attendees, promoters and musicians.  It includes a score by the Mission Mountain Wood Band – a much beloved local band and perennial Kegger performers.

Kegger premiered in the University Theater during the University of Montana Homecoming week in the fall of 2009 to a packed house.  It occasionally runs on Montana PBS during fundraising drives.
