United We Will Win: WWII Posters that Mobilized a Nation was Fort Missoula’s featured exhibit for 2012. The site features over 600 WWII propaganda posters grouped by category and type.

I designed the site to be responsive and work across devices so that museum patrons could use QR codes in the physical exhibit to see posters related to those on display.  The collection of WWII posters Fort Missoula has possession of is quite impressive and I am very excited to have helped bring them to a larger audience!

The website went on to win top honors in the 2012 Mountain-Plains Museums Association Awards! From the Missoulian (Recognition section):

The Mountain-Plains Museums Association announced that the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula took top honors for online presence in the 2012 Publications Design Competition and Technology Competition Awards for the online exhibit, “United We Will Win.” This online exhibit was developed in conjunction with an in-house exhibit of the museum’s World War II propaganda poster collection.
