The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula’s new Curator of Collections really wanted to bring the museum into the future and improve the way they used their web presence. They were integrating outreach through social media and really wanted to start sharing their massive collection of Missoula history on their blog and website. We collaborated on a redesign and new user experience for people visiting the site.

Developer Quinn Johns utilized the Skeleton CSS framework and finished out the final pieces of design and development when I had to leave the project.  He did an amazing job!

The final site allows the Historical Museum to easily share updates via their matching WordPress blog, easily add new collections and exhibits and gather support in the form of volunteers and donations. It also showcases the Fort’s own history, specifically when it served as the post for the 25th Infantry Bicycle Corps and as an Alien Detention Center during WWII.
